You’re here because

You’re ready to thrive

Old patterns and habits aren’t working. In fact, they seem to be keeping you stuck and you’ve finally had enough. Deep down, you know there’s a version of you with a sense of purpose, confidence, and resilience—a self that adapts, grows, and stays steady through life’s ups and downs. You’ve been searching for ‘you’ and the path that will get you there.

Just “dealing with it” hasn’t actually helped you feel better.

You’ve googled your feelings, listened to podcasts, seriously contemplated the advice you found on TherapyTok, gone down Reddit rabbit holes,… all to find some answers. Maybe, you’ve even tried therapy before, but…

  • Things felt better for a while, but nothing really changed.

  • You couldn’t bring yourself to say what you really wanted to. You wanted to share, but the words got stuck or felt unimportant to say out loud.

  • It felt like a really expensive vent-session. You felt validated, but you didn’t really get the direction or guidance you were looking for.

Hey. I’m NICOLE

I want you to feel better now.

We’ll work together to identify and interpret your most complex thoughts and emotions. But you don’t have to wait until we uncover attachment wounds, repressed emotions, or unconscious beliefs. Working with me means gaining practical coping skills and tools you can start using right away. I rely on my background in psychology to implement cognitive and behavioral changes. I use scientifically supported methods like CBT, DBT, exposure, and mindfulness skills to create real, lasting changes.

Our sessions will go beyond exploration and reflection — therapy with me is not 'just talking.' It feels great to vent, but it feels even better to have a path forward. I will gently confront and challenge you when I notice you might be holding yourself back. We all have a tendency to lean into old patterns and unproductive coping skills, especially when it’s all you know. I’m here to hold you accountable and help you grow in a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental way.

Good therapy feels great. Great therapy makes a difference.

  • Anxiety disorders cover a wide array of issues and happen when our normal cognitive and physiological responses go awry. These include generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and body dysmorphia.

With anxiety you may experience excessive and intrusive thoughts, sensations, or emotions that are difficult to control. These feelings make it hard to relax, focus, and feel like yourself.

  • Relationship issues can happen on two levels, interpersonal and intrapersonal.

In simple terms, interpersonal issues are about "you and others," while intrapersonal issues are about "you with yourself."

Difficulty with expressing needs, actively listening, or understanding others’ perspectives; inability to set effective and appropriate boundaries; challenges with handling disagreements in a healthy way; trust issues; codependency; difficulty with forgiveness are all examples of interpersonal issues.

Low self-esteem, identity issues, people pleasing, self-sabotaging, attachment wounds, self-criticism, and perfectionism are all examples of intrapersonal issues.

  • Emotional dysregulation is when someone struggles to manage or respond to their emotions in a balanced way. Instead of reacting calmly or proportionally, emotions may feel overwhelming, intense, and out of control.

Issues resulting from emotional dysregulation include: intense anger or irritability, extreme sadness or despair, anxiety or panic attacks, impulsivity, emotional numbing, self-harm and risky behaviors, and burnout.

My specialties

I work with teens and young adults who feel overwhelmed by intense emotions, anxiety, or challenges in managing relationships.

The process

01

DISCOVER

First, we will identify your goals for therapy— don’t worry if you don’t know right now, we’ll figure it out together! We’ll also work together to identify any problematic thoughts, behaviors, and coping patterns.

02

PROCESS

Next, we will process what we’ve uncovered through methods like exploration, interpretation, acceptance, and integration. (And, maybe even confrontation, if I see you holding yourself back).

03

GROW.

Once we uncover your path forward, I’ll teach you ways challenge and replace any problematic thoughts, behaviors, and coping skills into more useful and productive ones.
